Testimonials

  • I was fortunate to be Andrea Juskaitis's student for two years. Andrea is a great teacher who cares deeply about her students. She made every effort to create a classroom that felt like a community, adopting teaching practices that made the class engaging and inclusive. She introduced a new teaching style to Vail Christian High School, even going so far as to completely rearrange the class furniture to facilitate "Roundtable Discussions". Her class was very memorable because she approached teaching as a community activity. With Andrea's unique teaching style, I became a stronger writer and student. Outside of class, Andrea was critical in my college application process. Andrea always found time to meet with me, talk about college admissions, and go over college and scholarship application essays. She does an incredible job of connecting with students and providing meaningful advice. Our many conversations and her feedback helped me refine my writing to the best it could be. Just as in class, Andreas' desire to help students made me feel supported and confident. My two years with Andrea were productive, enjoyable, and memorable. Andrea is a great teacher, mentor, and person; I can't recommend her enough!

  • I’ve known Andrea Juskaitis for over 3 years, and I had the privilege of being in her English class for 2 of those. Andrea played a huge role in helping me improve my writing, especially when it came to essays. She was always clear in her feedback, guiding me on what needed to be improved and how to make my writing stronger. Her teaching style was a big part of how I prepared for college, as she really helped me develop skills that I could apply in every class. Andrea’s approach to teaching is what makes her stand out. She’s easy to talk to and truly cares about her students’ growth. I always felt supported by her, and her advice wasn’t just academic—it was personal, too. She takes the time to connect with each student, and that makes a big difference. Whether it was in the classroom or during a trip she took us on to Greece, it was clear how dedicated she is to creating meaningful experiences for her students. Her guidance through the college essay process and recommendation letters was incredibly helpful. Andrea’s skills in writing and communication make her an excellent choice for assisting high school juniors and seniors with their college admissions. I’m confident she’ll be a huge help to anyone looking to craft standout essays and get into their dream schools. If you have the opportunity to work with Andrea, I would strongly recommend it!

  • Ms. Juskaitis was one of the most influential teachers I had in high school. Her teaching style was personal, creative, and engaging—she took the time to understand each student’s strengths and made learning exciting. Through her assignments, she helped me discover the joy of writing beyond the rigid five-paragraph essay, encouraging me to think critically and express my ideas with clarity and originality. She allowed us to choose our own books for writing assignments, giving us the freedom to engage with literature that resonated with us, and she encouraged experimentation with different mediums, such as video projects and poetry. Without realizing it at the time, I was developing my own writing process—learning how to think outside the box, take risks, and find my voice. What sets Ms. Juskaitis apart is her ability to connect with students on a deeper level. She didn’t just teach writing; she taught me how to develop ideas and communicate them effectively—a skill that was invaluable when it came to crafting college application essays and succeeding in academic writing. Her passion for teaching and her support made a lasting impact on me. Anyone who works with her will not only gain practical writing and admissions guidance but will also find a mentor who cares about their success.

  • "When I sat down to talk about colleges with Ms. J, she was full of helpful information that was realistic and encouraging to me. Her experience and insight about different universities gave me a better feel than even a college’s own website! She was able to give me specific feedback on my essays that not only focused on the sophistication and eloquence I was searching for, but conveying a personal subject in my own voice."

  • "I’ve had many English teachers over the years and I don’t take it lightly when I say you’ve come to be my favorite. You challenged me to grow, inspired me with your enthusiasm, and prepared me well for the AP English Language exam like no one else…over the year, you pointed out the flaws in my writing, and even when I didn't like it, you pushed me to be a better writer, day by day. For the first time ever I really, really worked to get that perfect score…Truly, words cannot express how deeply I thank you for helping me grow in my writing and how you constantly challenged me, busting my preconceived notions of perfection and forcing me to work for it. You forever changed my writing style, and I just know it’s going to help me tremendously in college."

  • "In the fall of 2024, Andrea revised and helped me organize a good amount of my work concerning applications for graduate school. Though I was in a completely different time zone, she still found the time to meet with me remotely and answer any questions I had. Andrea was patient with me and my work process, and I am particularly thankful for her thoroughness and attention to detail regarding the materials for my application. It was so helpful to have her guide me through this daunting process and she made me feel confident in my writing."

  • "Recently my daughter had the privilege of working with Andrea as her college consultant. We couldn’t be happier with the process or the results. She has a natural ability to connect with teens, which is critical in this process. Compared to our family's experience with other private college consultants, Andrea made the process much easier and significantly less stressful. My daughter chose a school she wouldn't have considered without Andrea's suggestion, and it was definitely the right fit. Andrea has extensive teaching and college consulting experience at various high schools in Utah, California, and Colorado, including the prestigious Pacific Ridge School, where in-depth college consulting is integrated into the curriculum. This unique background has given her invaluable insight and experience in assisting students throughout the college application journey. She can also relate to parents, having recently been through the process with her own daughters."

  • "My experience with Andrea Juskaitis of Sky Blue College and Academic Coaching has been transformative for my son, bringing a sense of relief and peace of mind to me as a parent. I was initially concerned about the pressures of life after college graduation, but Andrea's invaluable guidance and support have made a world of difference to my son. Not only did she help him navigate the complexities of life after graduating from university, but she also helped him balance personal responsibilities and set clear career goals. Andrea created a safe and supportive environment where my son felt understood and empowered to apply to graduate school. She took the time to really listen, understand his challenges, and offer practical options for him to consider. The coaching sessions helped him develop coping strategies and a more profound self-awareness and confidence. The difference is clear: my child is now more organized and less overwhelmed by the demands of life after college. What I appreciate most about Andrea is her genuine care for my son. She has taken the time to get to know him, understand his needs, and provide the support he requires. Her focus on mental, emotional, and professional well-being has positively impacted my child's happiness and success. I wholeheartedly recommend Andrea Juskaitis to any parent looking for a professional who genuinely cares about their child's growth and success."
